Wonderful Sunday lunch with our dear friends , The Barkers , we sat in the upstairs room for 8! Lovely big table and fantastic artwork on the walls ! A fabulous talking point ! Now the food ( chicken roast dinner) was excellent so generous too! Lydia our waitress was amazing ! Thanks team 29! We will be back !! East family

My wife and I had lunch there over summer and had a good experience. Unfortunately the 2nd time was not a good experience. The food was substandard, the steaks were extremely hard and the service was not good either.

We have not eaten here yet always seem to miss the 3pm deadline, but just to sit in the bar with a drink is pure pleasure. Love it and staff really friendly.

Our experience at number29 was simply wonderful, from start to finish. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. The decor is just perfect and I loved the fresh flowers throughout. The food was varied and lots of choice of beautifully prepared and presented dishes. We will certainly be back. Thank you for such a lovely time

Lovely restaurant / venue. Came here for the second time and it hasn't disappointed. We had the roast chicken and roast pork for lunch followed by the Eton Mess. All of which was top notch!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights (27th & 28th aug). It seems a lot of time and effort has been put into the hotel, and it didn't disappoint in any way. The food was excellent.
Rooms beautifully appointed and totally spotless. Would certainly stay again.

This is a lovely place to stay and eat. Rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. I can't fault it. Outside areas are great. I would absolutely recommend it

My favourite hotel and restaurant in England. Amazing location, I’d never get bored of Norfolk. We visit at least 5 times a year to stay in the hotel or just for dinner. Dan is the BEST waiter/manager. Nothing is too much trouble. Great food, great drinks and great service.

Had a meal and drinks yesterday afternoon/early evening excellent meal and atmosphere,
Young staff were brilliant nothing too much trouble for them and very efficient looking forward to a return visit .

We were bitterly disappointed with our lunch. Whilst the meat was very tasty, the rest of the food reminded me of school meals! The potatoes were stale, the cauliflower cheese was disgusting! However, the worst part of our experience was the flies! I counted 8 at one point and when we asked the staff if they could do something, they said they were aware of the problem, but they couldn't do anything about it, because they had run out of fly spray!! Won't be going there again!

- the location is great and the benches out front are v comfy and are ideal for a view of the green and a bit of people watching. Service was great and I'll be back soon

I genuinely love this place however I take exception be being charged £30 for two Aperol spritz! Totally excessive.
I'm also 99% sure that they served Salmon when we ordered Trout. We brought this to their attention however they insisted it was Trout. I've never eaten or caught a Trout of that size before and never had it served as a steak (section through the fish rather than a fillet or full fish). It was bright pink and very firm...tasted like Salmon, looked like salmon....suspect it was salmon. Disassociating but looking on the positive side the salm.....fish was lovely but if I'd wanted Salmon I'd have ordered Salmon.

We have visited this place numerous times over the last 5 years and something always draws us back. So much so, we booked the entire place for our wedding. The day went absolutely seamlessly and provided the perfect backdrop for our intimate special day. Lidia the manager, was on hand over the last year with any questions we had day to help tailor the day to suit us. The team collectively have a family feel about that, and myself and my husband both agreed we felt a part of the big No.Twenty9 family that day. We got to know the staff and they us too. The food on the day was exceptional- Julian and his chefs are very talented! Every single one of our guest said it was such a lovely day and one of the best weddings they had been to, commenting on how well fed they had been, and the attentiveness of the staff as well as the incredible feel and atmosphere of the place. We would not have wanted to have our special day anywhere else! We are very much looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed here on Sunday till monday ,what a wonderful stay we had ,staff are great and Lydia was wonderful couldn't do enough for us ...garden area is superb with live reggae music ,food is excellent as were the rooms will definitely be returning
